Kotsu Kotsu（以下「本アプリ」）は、瞑想の記録を石として積み上げるアプリです。本アプリは、ユーザーのプライバシーを最優先に設計されています。
収集する情報
- ニックネーム・国（国コードのみ） — 世界マップ上におおまかな位置を表示し、また下記のランキングに表示するために使用します。市区町村レベルの位置情報や GPS は一切取得しません。
- 瞑想セッションの記録 — 開始時刻・終了時刻・時間。端末内の SQLite データベースに保存されます。後述のランキング用の集計値を除き、個々のセッション記録がサーバーへ送信されることはありません。
- プレゼンス情報 — 瞑想中であることを示す匿名 ID・終了予定時刻と、マップ表示用のニックネーム・国・連続日数をサーバーに送信します。この ID は端末ごとにランダム生成され、氏名や連絡先とは結び付きません（ただし GDPR 上は仮名化された個人データとして扱われます）。最長1時間で自動削除されます。
- ランキング情報 — 全体ランキングを表示するため、匿名 ID・ニックネーム・国・連続瞑想日数・累計セッション数・累計時間をサーバー（Cloudflare D1）に保存します。これらに氏名や連絡先は含まれませんが、GDPR 上は仮名化された個人データとして扱われます。アンインストールしただけでは消えませんが、最後の更新から1年で自動的に削除されます（それより早い削除をご希望の場合は下記までご連絡ください）。
収集しない情報
- メールアドレス・電話番号などの連絡先
- GPS などの正確な位置情報
- 音声の内容（「呼吸の測定」を有効にした場合のみマイクを使用しますが、解析されるのは音量の変化だけです。音声は録音・保存・送信されず、一時ファイルは測定終了時に直ちに削除されます）
- 広告識別子・トラッキング情報
通知
毎日のリマインダー通知は、ユーザーが設定画面で有効にした場合のみ、端末のローカル通知として送信されます。通知のためにサーバーへ情報を送信することはありません。
第三者への提供
収集した情報を第三者に販売・共有することはありません。
データの削除
アプリを削除すると、端末内のすべてのデータが削除されます。サーバー上のプレゼンス情報は最長1時間で、ランキング情報は最後の更新から1年で自動的に消去されます。それより早い削除をご希望の場合は、下記の連絡先までお問い合わせください。

処理の法的根拠
- 契約の履行（GDPR 第6条1項(b)） — 端末内の瞑想記録、および、あなたがニックネームと国を設定して世界マップ・ランキングに参加することを選んだ場合の、その表示に必要な処理。
- 同意（同項(a)） — 「呼吸の測定」を有効にした場合のマイクの使用。端末の設定からいつでも取り消せます。取り消しても、それまでの処理が違法になることはありません。
保存期間
- 端末内のデータ — アンインストールで即時削除されます。
- プレゼンス情報 — 最長1時間で自動削除されます。
- ランキング情報 — 最後の更新から 1年が経過した項目は、1日1回の自動処理で削除されます。それより早い削除をご希望の場合は、下記へご連絡いただければ速やかに消去します。
あなたの権利
アクセス・訂正・削除・処理の制限・データポータビリティ・異議申立の各権利があります。端末内のデータはアンインストールですべて消去できます。サーバー上のランキング情報については、info@cavi.world へニックネームを添えてご連絡ください。無償で対応します。
EU 域外への移転
プレゼンス情報とランキング情報は、Cloudflare のグローバルなインフラ（Workers KV / D1）に保存されます。したがってデータが EU 域外で処理される場合があります。当社はこれらの情報を第三者に販売・提供しません。
監督機関への苦情
EU・EEA にお住まいの方は、お住まいの国のデータ保護監督機関に苦情を申し立てる権利があります。英国にお住まいの方は Information Commissioner's Office（ICO）へ申し立てられます。
自動化された意思決定
本アプリは、プロファイリングを含む自動化された意思決定を行いません。

Kotsu Kotsu Privacy Policy

Kotsu Kotsu is a meditation app where each session stacks a stone on your cairn. It is designed privacy-first.
What we collect
- Nickname and country (ISO code only) — used to place your stone coarsely on the world map and to display you on the leaderboard below. We never collect GPS or city-level location.
- Meditation sessions — start time, end time, and duration. Stored in an on-device SQLite database. Apart from the leaderboard totals described below, individual session records are never uploaded.
- Presence — while you meditate, an anonymous random per-install ID, your session's planned end time, and your nickname, country, and streak are sent to our server so others can see you "sitting now" on the map. The ID is not linked to your name or contact details, though under the GDPR it counts as pseudonymised personal data. It expires automatically within one hour.
- Leaderboard — to show a global ranking, we store your anonymous ID, nickname, country, streak, total sessions, and total minutes on our server (Cloudflare D1). It contains no name or contact details, but under the GDPR it counts as pseudonymised personal data. Uninstalling alone does not remove it, but it is deleted automatically one year after its last update (contact us below for earlier deletion).
What we do NOT collect
- Email addresses, phone numbers, or contacts
- Precise location (GPS)
- Audio content (if you enable Breath Sensing, the microphone is used, but only loudness changes are analyzed on-device; audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted, and temporary files are deleted immediately)
- Advertising identifiers or tracking data
Notifications
Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, only if you enable them in Settings. No server is involved.
Third parties
We never sell or share your information with third parties.
Data deletion
Deleting the app removes all on-device data. Server-side presence entries expire within one hour, and leaderboard entries are deleted one year after their last update. To have yours removed sooner, contact us at the address below.

Legal bases
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — your on-device meditation record, and, where you chose to take part by setting a nickname and country, the processing needed to show you on the world map and leaderboard.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — use of the microphone when you enable Breath Sensing. You can withdraw it at any time in your device settings; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Retention
- On-device data — erased as soon as you uninstall.
- Presence — deleted automatically within one hour.
- Leaderboard — entries untouched for one year are deleted by an automatic daily sweep. If you want yours removed sooner, write to us and we will erase it promptly.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. On-device data is entirely erased by uninstalling. For your leaderboard entry, write to info@cavi.world with your nickname; we will act free of charge.
Transfers outside the EU
Presence and leaderboard records are stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure (Workers KV / D1), so they may be processed outside the EU. We never sell or disclose them to third parties.
Complaints
If you are in the EU or EEA you may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Automated decision-making
Kotsu Kotsu performs no automated decision-making, including profiling.
